Select the Speed Skating session, add to cart, and make payment. Check the website for any covid requirements. If you have questions about payment, or refunds, you’ll need to contact the rink.

The rink does not rent speed skates. Plan to arrive at the rink 1/2 hour before the start of ice time. You will need to ask around and find a speed skater who can help you with the club’s rental speed skates. Please read the speed session rules so you know what to expect.

  1. Hi if I want to try the speed skating, I just need to register the session on line. And who should I contact to check if there is a rental skates of my size. I would like to figure that out in advance. Thanks!

    1. Sorry about the very late response. Our website has not been monitored for a while. To answer your question: you can register online or in-person at either the san jose or oakland ice rink. We have many skates you can borrow, last time I looked we had sizes from small children to large adults, I’m sure we can find a pair that fits you.

  2. Hello,
Can we have the name of the speed skating club please ?
We would like to gave more information regarding regular training for competition.

    1. Have a look at the “find a speedskating session” tab our home page. The days listed are the only two available in the bay area. I’m not aware of a name other than NCSA.
