SafeSport

All NGBs are required by law to create a Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPP).

In order to be compliant with the MAAPP, all adults applying for USS membership will be required to pass the Safe Sport program.

This applies to all USS members that are 18 years of age and older that have regular contact with minor athletes on or off the ice. You can be an athlete, a coach, an official, a parent, staff, etc. If you are a USS member and have regular contact with minor athletes you need to take the SafeSport training to remain in good standing and continue to have a current membership with USS.
